Thomas J. Overstreet, Jr.
An American studies professor, Overstreet’s work typically centers
around animation and society, although he has been known to investigate
all realms of entertainment. At a recent conference, he was overheard
saying in jest, "I'm just trying to make my cable bill tax-deductible."
He is currently working on a lengthy work on Michael Jordan, Ice-T and
the construction of modern African-American male identities.
