Silver and Green--Knowing

Staci Green sucked on silver coins
Knowing she would choke on them someday.
The temptation of fate and cold metal merged
In her warm and slimy mouth. Later, she
Would finger the tepid coins in her hand,
And would sleep with them on her eyes.
