Jesus in Spandex
by Francine DuBois

oh my heavens
stars and stripes
jesus came to me
in a dream
wearing spandex
and looking a lot
like gallagher.
you were all
glittering in gold
like a klimt
and just as
passionate.

we were all
at starbucks.
and do you know
what he said,
what jesus
himveryself
said?

ain't enough
love in this world,
he said, so you
gotta grab it
when you find it.
