Upon Martin's Clothes
Robert Herrick
1648

When in silks my Martin goes,
Then, then, methinks, how sweetly flows
That liquefaction of his clothes.

Next, when I cast my eyes, and see
That brave gyration, each way free,
O, how that jostling taketh me.
