you're everything i can't say
nobody taught me how to give compliments
i was too busy learning complementary angles
nobody taught me how to appreciate beauty
i was too busy learning the historical meanings
analyzing economic patterns, gender and race
in cooperation with changing fashion
and never could figure out how to say
that's a pretty sweater
it brings out the love in your eyes
