Design Manifesto
So I changed things again, and I'm sure I'll change
it all over again. This time though, I'll rant in FAQ form.
Q. Why green and blue?
A. Because yellow is hard on the eyes.
Q. But I liked the red and orange.
A. Me too, but, as the Brady kids once sang, "When
it's time to change, you've got to rearrange." While I'm fond
of the color scheme right now, I'll probably change it later. The
red and orange was just too "October" for me, so I'll fast
forward to April colors.
Q. Why no Java?
A. Few Villagers can afford a cable modem, and those
that could refuse to use technology. (Our Marxist, Horace
Simmons, is actually quite wealthy, but refuses to touch a computer.
He has people for that.) I try to make this site accessible for all
visitors.
Q. Why don't you have little sub-menus for the fonts?
A. Most people just download all of them at once. I'm
lazy and, while fonts are fun, I'm "over it." Sorry.
